A Database

Throughout 2008

www.adatabase.org

A Database has been selected by the Liverpool Biennial organisation to
digitally archive and map the pivotal International Festival of Contemporary
Art, from its inauguration in 1999 to the present day. Throughout 2008 each event will be made available in succession to the public online.

These records and images of artists and their work will help to illuminate
the key part the Liverpool Biennial has played in the cultural life of the
city, and provide the historical context and background for visitors to
Liverpool European City of Culture 2008.
